Tumbling Test
The goal of this test was to determine the wear resistance of the various types
of PMC. Stainless steel shot was used to simulate the bumps of everyday life.
The tests showed relatively little degeneration in the silver versions, all of
which behaved about the same. The new 22K PMC Gold held up very well, as shown
in the detail below. The sample of Original 24 Gold PMC became stretched and
lost the crispness of the form. |
