PMC Courses
About our classes.
Written by Helen O'Neill (15 June 2007)
We receive many questions about our courses so I thought it would be a good opportunity to discuss our courses in more depth. Our aim is to develop the PMC artist in all of you, no matter what your level of expertise.Demonstrations form a large part of all of our courses, and we actively encourage our students to be creative in their designs.

Nothing is more pleasurable to us than seeing our students leave at the end of the day wearing a piece of jewellery they have made. When planning our monthly I visit the US at least twice a year (as you know the US is at the forefront in new PMC techniques), so that I can pass these new skills on to you. The only prerequisite for booking a place on one of our Masterclasses is to have been on one of our introductory courses first. As with all our courses, Masterclasses are easy to follow as each step is demonstrated to you before moving on to the next.

Feedback tells us that some of our students eventually wish to teach PMC artistry themselves, and to this end we have introduced ‘Teaching PMC’ workshops. This course covers the teaching aspect of PMC, how to improve your communication and demonstration skills as well as being supported by The PMC Studio as you get your business up and running. Candidates for this course must have a level 1 certification and we would strongly recommend level 2 certification for anyone serious about this as a business.
I hope this has given you a brief overview of the type of workshops we run here at The PMC Studio. Check out our wesbsite for a list of all our courses for 2007, including dates and costs etc.

Finally, we welcome suggestions from you, our customers. For instance, is there anything specific you would like to see included in our course list. Or perhaps you want to see more weekend or midweek courses.. Would you like to book some one-to-one lessons, or perhaps you have a small group of friends who would all like to learn together. We can tailor-make our courses to suit you. Just give us a call. I look forward to hearing from you.

Helen.
